Like Summer Institute, Spring Assessment Forum honors the specificity of AP and Dual Credit programs while strengthening all teachers’ use of data analysis to spark reflection and inform instructional practice.
A mock AP Exam experience for AP teachers trains participants on the application of College Board rubrics, but it goes beyond exam reading to examine student data produced by the exam. Teachers use the mock AP Exams as formative assessments and explore strategies to guide instruction before AP Exams in May.
The assessment experience for Dual Credit teachers gathers representatives from diverse Indiana Dual Credit providers to collaborate on issues pertaining to college-level course expectations, final exams, summative and formative assessment design, and the use of formative assessment data to inform instruction in the Dual Credit classroom.
Teachers of “dual seated” or “dual enrolled” courses may choose either the AP or Dual Credit version of the Spring Assessment Forum.NOTE: REGISTRATION FOR AP SESSIONS IS NOW CLOSED.
