English Language Learners: A student who speaks a language other than English at home and is in the process of acquiring English proficiency.
IEP (Individualized Education Plan): A student who has a personalized plan to meet the specific educational needs defined by the 13 official categories of IEP disabilities.
504 Plan: A student who has a comprehensive plan that outlines the accommodations and supports a school will provide to ensure they have equal access to the general education curriculum as described in Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
SSP (Student Support Plan): A student who has a documented strategy to overcome academic, behavioral, or life skill challenges.
Other Accommodations: A student who is diagnosed with the following disabilities -- Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Specific Learning Disability, Intellectual or Developmental Disability, Physical Disability, and/or Multiple Diagnosed Disabilities.
