The priority deadline to submit your application is Dec. 12, 2025 at 11:59 pm ET.

Option 1:

Consider Professors Brinig and Garnett's statement about the relevance of the choice movement to the broader issues of civic vitality: “Catholic schools have, for decades, helped generate the social capital needed to make urban neighborhoods work, and their disappearance raises serious concerns. Thus, in good times and perhaps especially in bad, policy makers and Catholic Church leaders alike should confront these concerns and, when possible, take steps to preserve the schools for their students and their neighborhoods.” In what way(s) do you see your involvement in this work as a response to the need of ensuring the future quality, sustainability, and accessibility of schools that "generate the social capital needed to make urban neighborhoods work"?

In a 2019 interview, family choice advocate and civil rights activist Howard Fuller said, “I’ve always seen school choice from a social justice framework as opposed to a free market framework.” How do you view school choice? Are these perspectives on school choice in tension, or can they be reconciled?

The mission of the Reform Leaders' Summit is to "equip leaders with the skills and abilities needed to support family rights and equity in education." RLS 18 participants earn a fellowship that covers their participation fee, lodging, and meals. Participants will be expected to pay for travel to and from each of the three immersion weekends. We have a limited number of scholarships available for people who may be unable to pay for their travel to and from our three immersion weekends. If you anticipate that paying for your travel will be a financial hardship (for you or for your organization), please explain this in no more than 200 words. If not, you may skip this question.
